about

Recorded in the winter of 1991. Skitzo found a recording studio one block from the Napa State Hospital in Napa CA. It is famous for housing severely crazy people there. The studio was owned by Tim Pickler out of his home in Napa. During our breaks we would walk over and talk to the inmates thru the fence. A few were fans of Skitzo already. This is the last record - recorded by the group of the 3: Lance Ozanix, Ron Klinger and Jason Sullivan. Once it was released, we had no backing for CD production only cassette and 500 were made and sold. The band disbanded / Ron was in talking about joining Red Hot Chili Peppers when they lost their player. Jason went on to join Epitaph (Sherri Stewart's first band) and he went and had a family, bought a home and works as a truck driver. Jason still plays drums and joins Skitzo when they have a reunion. Ron went to school and also has a family and works as a nurse for a children's hospital. This release barely saw the light of day - very few original cassettes exist / this CD was re-mastered and finally out to be enjoyed. The last song called "Idontcare" the whole band switched instruments and played each others opposites instruments and had a blast as you can hear.
